
We all see organic foods in our stores, but do we know what they are? Organic foods did not have pesticides or chemical fertilizers sprayed over it, does not contain genetically modifies organisms, and are not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives. This means it is not only healthier, but also safer for everyone to eat.
Having no pesticides strayed over it, there is no risk of a little bit of pesticide staying behind after it is washed. If foods are processed using irradiating, there can be tiny bits of radiation on the foods, and although a little bit can do nothing to you, we all know what will happen if you are exposed to to much radiation and not know about it.
Some people say organic is hippy, but its not, it’s a healthier alternative. In my experience, organic fruit looks and takes much nicer than non-organic. If you don’t believe me, try it yourself. Organic foods are more expensive, but think about its benefits. And if you can affors organic foods, try and treat yourself to it once or twice a month. It’s worth it.
