The advantages of going vegan

Vegan diets have proved to be very effective.  Many people go on vegan diets to lose weight, others because they care for animals, and some cause they are athletes.  Vegan diets help protect against diseases like obesity, heart and renal diseases, cancer, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis. 

I’m a runner, so I know that a vegan diet every once in a while really helps.  Some athletes are vegan.  I’m not a very big meat eater, so a vegan diet is not very hard for me to go on, but some people who really love meat, tend to struggle.  My advice, go on a vegan diet for a week, then stop for a week, and continue the cycle. 

If you want to lose weight, a vegan diet is perfect for you.  My mom had recently gone for 2weeks on a vegan diet and lost a lot of weight for someone who never exercises.  A word of advice though, try to exercise at least 3 times a week, it is important for body to exercise.
